dc.abstract.enThe essay deals with the purge of Critical Management Studies and Political Economy at the University of Leicester. We highlight the construction of the so-called Case for Change, attempts to downplay and delegitimise critical voices, and, finally, the securing of consent to dismantle critical scholarship. Against this backdrop, we will discuss seven characteristics or significant features of the official narrative.
